What We do during our visits

  • Weekly Brushing

    • Brushing removes film, dirt, and debris clinging to walls and floors so your pump and filter can circulate water efficiently. When water flows freely, chemicals distribute evenly and the whole system works smarter, not harder.

    • Algae start as tiny spores that latch onto rough spots. Regular brushing uproots those early colonies before they become slimy, green problems that require heavy chemicals and extra labor to fix.

    • Removing biofilm and organic buildup reduces the demand on sanitizers like chlorine. That means fewer shock treatments and more stable chemical levels

    • Mineral deposits and organic stains adhere to surfaces. Weekly brushing prevents those deposits from setting in, keeping surfaces brighter and reducing the need for harsh stain removers or acid treatments.

    • A cleaner pool puts less strain on pumps, filters, and heaters. With less gunk passing through equipment, parts last longer and maintenance costs drop.

    • Brushing removes gritty buildup that can make steps and ledges slippery. That improves traction and lowers the chance of slips and scrapes.

  • Weekly Skimming

    • Keeps debris from sinking: Removing leaves, bugs, and other debris each week prevents them from breaking down and settling on the pool floor, reducing staining and organic buildup.

    • Maintains clearer water: Regular skimming helps water stay visually clearer and more inviting, improving the overall look of your pool between deep cleans.

  • Weekly LSI Chemistry Check and Balance

    • Test Temperature, PH, Total Alkalinity, Calcium Hardness, Stabilizer, Total Dissolved Solids, Salt, and Free Caroline

    • Calculate LSI balance

    • Adjust all chemicals accordingly

Benefits of checking and balancing the LSI weekly

    • Prevents corrosion and scaling

      • A balanced Langelier Saturation Index (LSI) keeps water neither aggressively corrosive nor scale-forming. Weekly checks let you correct trends before metal fittings, heaters, pumps, and plaster suffer damage or deposits build up.

    • Extends equipment and surface life

      • Keeping LSI in the ideal range reduces degradation of heaters, pumps, ladders, lights, and pool finishes. That means fewer costly repairs, less frequent replastering, and longer-lasting components.

    • Improves water clarity and circulation

      • When LSI is balanced, minerals stay dissolved at appropriate levels, reducing cloudiness and preventing scale that can restrict flow in lines and filters. Clear water also helps sanitation work more effectively.

    • Enhances sanitizer performance

      • Balanced water chemistry supports consistent sanitizer activity. An out-of-range LSI can indicate pH and alkalinity problems that weaken chlorine (or other sanitizer) effectiveness, demanding more chemical use to maintain safe water.

    • Lowers chemical costs

      • Weekly monitoring helps you dose only what's needed. Preventing swings in pH, alkalinity, and calcium hardness reduces overuse of acids, bases, sequestrants, and other corrective chemicals, saving money over time.

    • Reduces emergency maintenance

      • Catching LSI drift early prevents sudden issues like rapid scale formation, cloudy water, or corrosive attack. That cuts down on emergency service calls, inconvenient shutdowns, and unexpected downtime.

    • Provides better swimmer comfort

      • Stable pH and balanced water minimize eye and skin irritation, unpleasant tastes, and rough surfaces. Swimmers enjoy a more comfortable, pleasant experience when the LSI is maintained.

  • Bi-weekly Cartridge Filter Cleaning

    • Better water clarity: A clean cartridge traps fine particles more effectively, so water stays crystal clear instead of cloudy or dull.

    • Improved filtration efficiency: Regular cleaning restores proper flow through the pleats, meaning the filter can do its job without struggling.

    • Lower chemical use: When debris is removed regularly, chlorine and other chemicals aren’t wasted compensating for a clogged filter — savings for your wallet and gentler water for swimmers.

    • Reduced wear on the pump: Clean filters let water move freely, reducing pump strain and extending the life of motor seals and bearings.

    • Energy savings: With less resistance in the system, the pump uses less power to maintain flow, trimming energy costs.

    • Longer cartridge life: Routine cleaning prevents buildup that deforms or permanently damages the pleats, so cartridges last longer before replacement is needed.

  • Each week we’ll visually inspect the pool and equipment, and test actuators, lights, heaters, and more. If we find any issues, we’ll document them with photos in your weekly service report email.

  • Monthly Vacuuming

    • Removes debris before it breaks down: Vacuuming monthly pulls leaves, grass, insects, and other debris from the pool floor so they don’t decompose into organic matter that fuels algae and cloudy water.

    • Prevents algae growth: Regular removal of settled organic material reduces nutrients that algae need, lowering the risk of slimy surfaces and green water.

    • Protects filtration and equipment: Less debris reaching the filter and pump means reduced strain, fewer clogs, and longer-lasting equipment components.

    • Improves circulation and chemical effectiveness: Vacuuming helps distribute chemicals more evenly by clearing settled wastes, so sanitizer works more efficiently and chemical use can be optimized.

    • Keeps surfaces clean and prevents staining: Removing dirt, oils, and mineral buildup from the pool floor monthly reduces the chance of stains and makes routine brushing and shock treatments more effective.

    • Enhances water clarity and swimmer experience: A vacuumed pool looks clearer and more inviting, giving swimmers more confidence and comfort.

  • Every week we will add a maintenance dosage of Orenda Enzymes, Scale & Metal Control, and Phosphate Remover.

    • Helps break down oils, lotions, sweat, and organic debris to reduce cloudy water, lower chlorine demand, prevent scum lines, and make filters run more efficiently for smoother, clearer swim days.

    • Prevents rough, cloudy surfaces and staining by keeping calcium and metals dissolved and easily filtered out, preserving pool equipment, tile, and water clarity for lower maintenance and longer-lasting finishes.

    • Prevents algae growth and improves sanitizer effectiveness by removing phosphates that feed algae, keeping water clearer and reducing the need for extra chemicals.
